A soft whisper carried on the breath of a seasoned nurse reached my ears: a steady flow of hospital supplies siphoned out of their rightful places, ending up in the hands of private clinics and, I was soon to discover, even on the black market. Through it, I detailed the failings of our hospital and the inhumane conditions we endured. It became a voice for the voiceless, bringing attention to the systemic failures and advocating for crucial reforms.

The newsletter quickly gained traction, spreading like wildfire throughout Spanish Town and beyond. It sparked a wave of protests and community actions, people demanding answers and fighting for their rights with an intensity that could not be ignored.
